Advent Tree

The Elementary Grades 1-6 are preparing the Christmas Tree through the weeks of Advent. Each week the tree is adorned with symbols that help prepare ourselves for the Coming of Jesus Christ. Please note that our classes prepare for the upcoming Sunday. Place your cursor over the picture to read the captions and prayers. Second Week of Advent

The Second Week of Advent

We light the Candle of Peace.

Our classes symbolized peace as being united with one another. The garland of unity was created as each child wrote a name of someone they are praying for during Advent. Everyone's prayers are linked together.

We pray: "Come Lord Jesus, fill us with Peace and Hope.
